Common questions
When can I play?
Coastal Defense - Sea Monster is coming soon to the App Store for iPhone and iPad. This page will link to the store listing as soon as it is live.
Is it free?
Yes. The game is free to download and play. Optional in-app purchases (Pearl packs, the Starter Pack and VIP) go through the App Store.
Do I need an internet connection?
No. The whole game runs on your device and plays offline. There is no account and no sign-in.
Where is my progress saved?
On your device only — there are no accounts or servers. Your progress is included in your normal iPhone or iPad backup, so restoring a backup restores your game. Deleting the app deletes its progress.
Can I change the language?
Yes. Open Settings from the home screen and pick any of the 15 languages, at any time.
The game feels slow or my phone gets warm.
The game adjusts its render quality to your device automatically and caps at 60 fps. Closing other apps and keeping iOS up to date helps on older devices.
How do I turn the music or sound off?
Open Settings from the home screen: music and sound effects can each be turned off or made quieter.
How do I get back a purchase on a new device?
Open Shop › Top up and tap Restore purchases at the bottom. The Starter Pack and VIP come back with their heroes. Pearls are used up when spent, so they cannot be restored; if a purchase did not arrive, email us with the date and the pack.
I got a new phone. How do I move my progress?
Progress lives on your device, so it moves with your iPhone or iPad backup: set up the new device from an iCloud or computer backup of the old one.
